This book is a collection of liturgical resources utilized too infrequently to warrant their inclusion in The Book of Common Prayer. A revision of the 1994 edition, it includes additions accepted by General Convention in 2003. In the summer of 2006 the publisher stated the following regarding this volume. 'Convention mandated that the material originally presented for inclusion in BOS-namely the Rites of Passage liturgies and prayers-be published as a separate book by the publisher. Since there was no other new material presented for inclusion, the BOS 2003 will continue as the official current version.'
